Philadelphia Independent Film Festival 2010 up and running!
Hello all,
Well the grand scheme has been thwarted and we are now moving along just fine! We have many things going on and are well underway for 2010. The people have spoken. The founders have returned.
The Festival will be held June 24-28, 2010. Media Bureau, 725 N. 4th Street, will be the Box Office as it was for the inauguration year (2008). The late night screening room will be open for the truly daring. Film slams have risen again!
All films / events will be returning to Northern Liberties. The walking festival is back on...
We have spent the better part of the last 15 months debating openly the goals of our festival, seeking out like minded film types, expanding the link between local and non local film makers, and are having fun again watching the movies! If you are interested in checking out some of the screener's as audience reviewers and take yourself serious (!), please contact us at: http://PhiladelphiaIndependentFilmFestival.com or call (USA) 215 592 - 1242
... WAB submission process will begin Nov. 21st
... Walk-ins have already begun.
We are screening Monday and Wednesday evenings here in the freeRADlab. Please let us know if you are interested. The discussions have been lively. Contact us for more information or stop by - 9pm - 12am.
I want to thank everybody, especially all the film makers, City of Philadelphia, and the Northern Liberties community who have supported this festival and been there through the big changes over the past year. It has been quite an experience!
If you have any questions or comments, please call or stop by. Or just post it here - for all to see :)
See you soon,

The Final Schedule ....
Hello,
Thank you to all for working with us on the schedule. We will certainly work to have this schedule at least 3-6 weeks earlier next year. We had not anticipated the amount of requests. We believe that all will be good!
See the website for the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival 2008 Media Contact list. This list is in EXCEL format and contains over 200 Media contacts.
You can use this for press releases or anything you think will help promote your film.
By now all accepted Film Makers should have received a follow up email.
Stay in touch.

Festival Buzz ... People are talking ...
It seems like there is an intense Buzz about the Festival as we are literally swamped with phone calls, emails, and requests for information... We promise to keep this BLOG updated and answer all requests! So keep them coming.
We are laying out the guide now which means we have started to accept movies. We will update on May 21st as we have planned. We are trying not to "leak" information. Maybe we should? Maybe we did!!!
Our sponsorships have been moving along and we can not be more excited for the Festival.
We will be having outdoor screenings!!!! If it rains, we will need to move things in-doors. Let us know what you think about this and expect a global email VIA WAB soon.
Get in touch!
